The choice of a modern pellet stove is right for three reasons. First, the fuel is sourced from the local region and so contains almost no embodied energy as a result of transport; second, your heating will be clean and carbon neutral; and third, the fuel grows continuously and will be available in sufficient amounts for the future.
Our pellets are little sticks, one to three centimetres in length and six millimetres thick, and are made from local waste timber. They are made from compressed sawdust and wood shavings without the additional use of chemicals. A pellet stove heats your house and office, and provides all the hot water you need. It’s as clean and practical as conventional central heating, yet in harmony with nature. The whole house can be heated in a carbon-neutral manner, using raw materials sourced mainly from the forests of eastern Switzerland.
